I travel for over 10 years – by thumb in my early days, boots in the Scouts, a Lambretta came next and then my first old banger, followed by new old bangers to the beaches of the Costa Brava.

My thumb, boots, bikes and bangers took me all over Europe and the United Kingdom to find a charter flight to Spain on an old “Connie” I could go to the beach bars and much more fast and allows more time for the local movements take advantage of opportunities by horse and cart and the occasional bus and train.

“Go West and Prosper” seemed like a good idea if instead of taking an 8 hour flight, I have 8 days transatlantic voyage from Tilbury to Montreal on the Stephan Batory in Polish Ocean Lines to ensure that the time difference My travel plans are not problems. A few years later, I crossed the pond again on a ship, but this time it was five times larger and have traveled in style on the QE2 and Queen dined in the Grill for something my previous experience. I highly recommend travel ocean, but do not see myself in one of the modern cruise ships from port to port with a constant line-up to get in and out of t-shirts to buy. However, I have 10 Windjammers and Star Clipper cruise in the Caribbean are all memorable (hopefully Windjammer Barefoot Cruises restore their misery). But I digress.
