The city of San Diego never sleeps. In August, the city would host lots of exciting events and cultural activities. So come the next CityFest 2011 would be held August 14, 2011, Sunday 12 to 20 hours over Hillcrest on 5th Avenue and University Avenue. The 27th Annual CityFest is a celebration of community spirit. Visitors could be expecting live music, dancing, delicious food, beer garden, games, activities, face painting, a large stage, and arts and crafts. So if you’re planning a vacation to San Diego in the mid week of August, not use a day with friends and family to exciting CityFest.
A trip to San Diego is not complete without going on a whale watching cruise. This August, make it a point to see the migration of blue whales Newport Landing Summer 2011. Every year during the summer, thousands of giant blue whales come to the Southern California coast. There wiould be 65 feet long ship that is specifically created for visitors who could observe the abundant marine life.
